NYR Organic

Natural Clothing Company

Natural fibers like hemp, flax, bamboo are long lasting, practical, never out of style, safe for skin and health. Their seeds and oils have long known benefits, they grow well without pesticides and the fiber is naturally superior in strength and durability. They are breatheable, do not absorb odors and deter bacteria. That is not true for commercial textiles of our disposable and throw-away culture.

Glass Elements

I started my journey in glass by creating jewelry and immediately became addicted to the medium.

I have worked in Maryland, Washington DC and now Seattle, maintaining my own studio. I enjoy running my business, Glass Elements, selling fused glass jewelry and housewares on etsy.com as well as in local juried art shows. But my favorite part of working in this medium is helping people find their joy in glass.

Light in Glass

Deverie Wood Stain Glass Artist

Deverie describes her design sense as intricate, but is quick to qualify it. "I don’t think I have one particular style," she says. "I had some custom orders where I did some abstracts, and I enjoyed them tremendously."

She has also worked in Victorian, Southwestern and geometric motifs.
Now, after being proprietor of her own retail store and teacher of art glass, she has come full circle, and then some—with interests in more publishing as well. She has successfully published five pattern books and is currently working on more!

 Marci Broderick

I love creating environments, which is my favorite thing. Envisioning worlds, making them real and animating them is a true passion for me. My superpowers: I can match just about any drawing style.

I also accept commissions for fine art. I work in a variety of media including bronze, pastel, oils and watercolor. Please see 'Contact' to contact me.

Cody Blomberg

The inspiration for his work comes from the children and folks who light up when they see my paintings; from my parents and family; from the strangers I draw/paint in my studies of the world around me; from artists that have come before me like Alice Neel, Duncan Grant, Franz Marc, Toulouse-Lautrec, David Hockney, Egon Schiele, Picasso, David Wojnarowicz, Diego Rivera, Brett Cook, William Walker; and from countless children’s book illustrators.

Charlette Haugen Artist

She particularly enjoys creating and painting in an impressionistic yet realistic style, enjoying a variety of subjects and scenes, all of which challenge this watercolor artist. There are times when the subject calls for experimentation with other media or calls out for a non-objective approach. Therefore, abstract pieces will be found in her portfolio as well.

She has participated in a number of exhibitions and art venues, and her work has been selected for several juried events. Her painting entitled Village Vignettes was selected for the 2004 Magnolia Summer Festival poster. At the same show the People’s Choice award was bestowed on her painting Stonewalled, Through the Masts received the award in ’06, and in September of '07 her mixed media painting entitled America, America won an Honorable Mention award at the Puyallup State Fair. In February of ’07, Charlette was a featured artist at Parklane Gallery.
